(‘Princes of the Universe’ begins to play as we open on a shot of Brian and Roger, both looking much like they did in the 70s, somewhere in the Swamp. A shower of light beams can be seen on the horizon, multiple Warp Stars rocketing away. Two of them—one ridden by Lucina and one by Mega Man—swoop down and grab the drummer and guitarist, pulling them onto their respective stars.) Lucina: Hold on! (As they catch up with the others, we see the likewise younger-looking Freddie and John riding alongside Pit and Simon, respectively. Cut to the group [which also includes Kirby, Pikachu, Ariel (the girl Inkling), Lucas, Samus, Snake, Toon Link, and Sonic] seated in a circle.) Pit: Galeem wants to engulf the world in light, and Dharkon to flood it with darkness. Samus: We have to stop them, or other worlds could be next! (Shot of Roger in the Molten Fortress, a flame-shaped ruby hovering before him. Cut to Roger and Lucina, the drummer’s hands enveloped in flames and the latter with her

"Good morning, Brian dear!"
Turning, Brian found himself looking at a puppet, which looked almost exactly like a Muppet version of Freddie, right down to the black and white harlequin costume. The singer himself was hiding under the table.
"Oh my God..."
"What? Is my makeup not on right? Is my hair still a mess?"
"Where did you get that?" Brian asked.
"Get what?" Freddie inquired.
"The..." Brian chuckled. "The puppet."
"Puppet? What puppet?" The puppet tilted its head to one side. "It's just the two of us."
It straightened up. "Unless..."
As Roger and John entered the room, the puppet began to smack Brian on the arm, the guitarist sh

"Freddie! Thank goodness I'm not too late."
Weakly, Freddie pushed himself up, smiling at the Indian-looking man who had entered through the window. "Hello, Arjuna."
"Why didn't you tell me?" Arjuna gave Freddie a look that was a mix of concern, sadness, and being hurt. "Why didn't you tell me you were this sick?"
"The same reason I didn't say anything to anyone else," the singer replied. "I didn't want pity."
Arjuna sat down next to him. "Freddie, how long have we been friends?"
"Since you rescued me from that vetala flock when I was a boy," Freddie answered. "You taught me all about the Elders, the Immortals, and the
"Wesley Myers, age thirty-five. Says here that Amanda--your ex-wife--divorced you three years ago after your daughter Polly claimed you molested her. Lucky for you, the jury found you not guilty thanks to that lawyer. Maybe now we've got a chance to put you away."
Freddie watched Anthony reading from the papers in his hand--props for this particular scene. They contained information about Nejdet's character--a man who had kidnapped main character Inspector Samantha Elliot after she had uncovered his plot to track down his wife and daughter by claiming the former was abusing the latter.
It was still hard to believe he was actually doing this

"One of these days, Bulsara, I will figure out how you do it."
Freddie smiled and shook his head. "Try all you like, Derrick, but that secret is one you'll never learn."
"Honestly, Freddie." Derrick Branche took a sip of coffee. "There are just some things I've never been able to understand about you. Remember back at St. Peter's, when you accidentally broke my arm during that match?"
"Yes," Freddie responded as his mind drifted back...

"I'm worried, Jer." Bomi Bulsara paced back and forth nervously. "I know he didn't mean to break that boy's arm, but if he doesn't learn to control his strength, he could cause something wo

"I can't believe we're free," Soula murmured, tears of joy welling up in her eyes. "After so long, we no longer have to serve Moebius."
"Makes me wish I'd switched sides sooner," Westar choked out.
"I don't blame you either way." John gave a comforting smile. "It took me a long time to realize what a monster he really was--that once we were no longer useful, we meant nothing to him."
"You know what I think?" Freddie grabbed his microphone. "I think this calls for a victory concert!"
Within a few short hours, the people of Labyrinth had gathered in a makeshift concert hall, formed outside the remains of Moebius's base. Freddie and the rest

"Freddie?"
Freddie looked up to see Eas--now their friend John Deacon and Cure Passion--standing in the doorway.
"What's wrong, John dear?"
"Can't sleep," the other man responded. "I've been trying my best, but every time I close my eyes, I see Westar and Soular. They're still serving Moebius, and...and I can't help but feel bad for leaving them behind."
"But you don't want to be Moebius's servant anymore, do you?" Freddie asked, gesturing for John to sit next to him. "You told us, when you revealed you were Eas, that you didn't want to fight us."
John nodded, sitting beside Freddie. "I swore loyalty to Moebius, but you, Roger,

Only a short time after first becoming Cure Pine, Freddie had almost started to get used to the idea of being a magical warrior. It was dangerous, yes, but he found it rather enjoyable. Besides it was easier with Roger and Brian--AKA Cure Peach and Cure Berry--fighting alongside him.
Of course, there were difficult parts, too.
"Chiffon dear, I can't help you if I don't know what's wrong."
The infant fairy just whimpered as Freddie gently rocked her back and forth. She'd been extremely irritable since the day before, and none of them could figure out what why.
To make matters worse, Soula had created a very powerful Nakewameke, and
