It just really hit me the other day that Freddie Mercury is dead. I don't think I knew that when I first listened to Queen. This summer though I got obsessed with Queen and I finally found out that Freddie Mercury is dead. To me there's a difference between knowing that someone is dead and realizing the implications of their death, what it means for you.

I finally realized that Freddie Mercury was dead when I was watching the Wembley Stadium show from 1986. Right before my favorite Queen song "Who Wants to Live Forever", Freddie said that "We're going to stay together until we fucking all die, I assureDeath, Freddie Mercury and Queen by ~lucyinthesky114

John, who after his death in 1980 lived in the Utopian place he used to dream of, directed his gaze to the man with the moustache. "Him," he pointed to the little microscope in which he could observe the people on Earth without any kind of contact.

I felt a slight tap on my shoulder.

"Why not?" I grumbled. All of a sudden, without warning, a heavy thunderclap shook the house. Freddie let out a shrill cry.
"JIM!!!!" he shrieked.
Finally, I sat up and turned to face him. "Are you alright?" I asked.
